Wild About Books Wednesday! {Linky Party!}

It's my last Wednesday of the school year.  I cannot believe how fast this year went! Here are a few of my all time favorite wordless picture books!  {There are Amazon affiliate links included in this post.}

Wordless picture books can be used to help increase expressive language and narrative skills. I often use these picture books to assess the oral narrative language skills of my students. David Wiesner is an amazing illustrator and writer of children's books.  His wordless picture books are, by far, my favorite!  His illustrations and writing always include something unexpected. The kids love them and they never get boring!

This book is about a "regular" Tuesday when frogs become airborne on their lily pads. I would recommend this book for all ages.

This book is about a school field trip to the empire state building.  This is a rather long picture book.  I would recommend for upper elementary or middle school aged students.

Flotsam

This book is about a boy who finds something interesting at the beach.  I would recommend for upper elementary level.
